About Little Puckers
Little Puckers is a Fun & Inclusive Gaelic Games based program for children aged 1.5-5 years old, founded by experienced coach Colm Crowley. Colm has over 20 years of coaching experience with the GAA in Sligo, Dublin and Cork, and is passionate about the values Gaelic Games bring to children's lives. Little Puckers aims to provide a positive first experience of Gaelic Games for every child who joins, ensuring that the benefits of the sport stay with them for life.

Our sessions
Fundamental Movement
Exploring & expanding every child's Fundamental Movement Skills are a key target of Little Puckers. Skills that will enable children to prosper at any sport but also lead to a better quality of life
Parental Involvement
Parents are key stakeholders in their child's enjoyment at Little Puckers. You will be asked to play with your child for most of the session. These collaborative activities help to develop strong bonds with your child which will lead to a stronger relationship. Playing together and laughing together lead to powerful emotions which very few other things can match
Free Play
With every session, we allocate and encourage "Free Play". This is where the child chooses what they want to do. It is great for experimentation and creativity for the children to allow their minds to wander.
Activities
We use a vast array of activities in our sessions. We will develop Little Puckers, Little Kickers, Little Throwers, Little Runners, Little Jumpers, Little Movers, and our activities whilst sport specific at times, will ensure a child gets a solid base for all future movement needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find some FAQs below, but feel free to get in touch if you have other queries
01
What do we need to bring?
All equipment is provided at the classes, so there is no need to bring anything except a drink.
02
Is there a uniform?
Children are free to wear anything they want but we encourage sporty type clothes that will allow ease of movement and comfort. We do have a jersey which is optional to purchase
03
What facilities are used?
We use indoor sports halls with adequate toilet and parking facilities available on site
04
What is my childe refuses to participate?
Our sessions are at best described as "Organised Chaos". Parents are involved in the whole session, so you will be there to support them. Whilst we do prescribe activities at the sessions, some children may not want to participate initially, so if they wish to do something else that makes them happier, that is no problem. With each passing session, they become more comfortable with the session plan.
